John H Barrett, 71, died about 5 a.m. Thursday at the home of his sister, Mrs.
Ida Stiles at Mt. Carmel, Ill.
He suffered a heart attack.
Mr. Barrett was born in Gibson county
near Wheeling and had made his home in Princeton for many years prior to his death.
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Stiles are another sister, Mrs.
Maggie White of Princeton; two brothers, Pearl and Milburn Barrett, both of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
The wife, Olive, passed away in 1947.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Colvin and Son Chapel with Rev.
Milton Boswell officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery near Wheeling.
Mr. Barrett is at the Colvin and Son funeral home where friends
may call after 2 p.m. Friday.
