Ben W. Sollman, 76, died Wednesday morning in his Evansville home after several months illness.


Mr. Sollman was born in Fort branch, June 6, 1891. He had been retired four years from Norman Manufacturing Company. Mr. Sollman was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Evansville.


Surviving is the wife, Carrie; three daughters, Miss Velma Sollman, Evansville; Mrs. Paul Termenstein, Evansville; Mrs. Elmer Schuiersch, of Haubstadt and one step daughter, Mrs. Barbara Hicks, of Indianapolis; four brothers, Gilbert of Fort Branch, Elmer of Kirkwood, Mo.; George of Evansville; Lawrence of Haubstadt; one sister, Mrs. Martha Michel, Evansville; seven grandchildren; six step grandchildren and 10 step great-grandchildren.


Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Laib Chapel. Rev. Arnold Geske will officiate. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, Evansville.


Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
