POMPANO BEACH, Fla.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday for Arvil Vaughn Benton, 63, uncle of Kenneth Ballard, of Princeton, who was struck by lightning Tuesday morning (15 Sep 1964) in Florida.  Dr. Nathan Schoolfield officiated at the service at White Church Cemetery.

Mr. Benton was a World War I Veteran and a member of the American Legion in Pompano Beach.

Colvin and Son Mortuary were in charge of arrangements.
