MRS ELIZABETH HOWARD BAXTER

Mrs. Elizabeth Howard Baxter, age 88, died 9:30 p.m. Wednesday (24 Nov 1971) in the Gibson General hospital after two year illness.

Mrs. Baxter who was a Princeton resident for the past 37 years was born in Pike county near Littles, Indiana on October 29, 1883.  She was a member of the General Baptist church in Littles.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Maxine Baxter Godwin of Princeton; two sons, Newton of Princeton and Jack of Crown Point; three nieces; eight grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Billy Livermore 2 p.m. Saturday at Colvin Chapel.  Burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery.  Friends may call at Colvin and Son mortuary after 3:30 p.m. Friday.
