FLORENCE D BIRMINGHAM  (11 Aug 188414 Nov 1970)

 

Florence D. Birmingham, 86, of 312 South Seminary St., Princeton died in Gibson General Hospital after two days illness.

 

Mrs. Birmingham was born August 11, 1884 in Gibson county where she had been a lifetime resident.  Mrs. Birmingham was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church, Princeton and Royal Sisters Society.

 

Mrs. Birmingham was preceded in death by her husband, Lucius Newton in 1951.

 

Surviving are one son, Wendell Birmingham of Whitridge, Colo; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Margaret) Howard of Princeton; one sister, Mrs. Thirza Burton of Barstow, Calif; one granddaughter, Mrs. Donald McDonald of Denver, Colo; three grandson, Dr. Thomas H. Howard of Ft. Collins, Colo; David W. Howard of Indianapolis; and Stephen Howard of Bloomington, Ind.

 

Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Kendall Funeral Home with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Rev. Karl McClure will officiate.

 

Mr. Birmingham is at the Kendall Funeral Home where friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday.
