Myrtle Weist Davison

Mrs. Myrtle Davison, 86, died 3:45 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, 1983 at Gibson General Hospital.

She was born Nov. 28, 1896 in Princeton to Andrew ‘Andy’ and Libbie Elsfelder Weist.

She was a retired secretary and church pianist. A member of the First General Baptist Church and the Gibson County Garden Club.

Mrs. Davison’s parents, husband, Roscoe, and son, Halmon preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Martha Jane Watkins of Princeton and a son, Fred of Marlborough, Mass.; two brothers, Roy and Clayton Weist both of Princeton; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Kline of Patoka; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Halmon Davison of Kissimmee, Fla.; and five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kendall Funeral Home, 520 S. Main St., Princeton. The Rev. Harlen Webber will officiate. Burial will be in White Church Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
