Ivan Hollen, 71, of Washington, died at 5:10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 1983, at the Davies County Hospital.

He was superintendent of North Posey School Corporation from 1960 until retirement in 1977. He was also basketball coach at Owensville, Tell City, and Washington.

Surviving are his wife, Rebecca; two daughters, Jane Arthur of Connersville, Ind., and Ann McLane of Baton Rouge, La.; as son, Larry of Fayetteville, Ohio; a sister, Mayme Oberleas of Princeton, and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Washington, with burial at 2 p.m. Tuesday at White Church Cemetery, Princeton. Visitation is 4-9 p.m. today at the Gill Funeral Home.
