Nellie A. Elsfelder, 102, died at 5 p.m. Sunday, February. 13, 1994, at Forest Del Convalescent Center in Princeton, after an extended illness.

She was born Aug. 5, 1891 in Wayne County, Johnsonville, Ill.

Mrs. Elsfelder was a factory worker for Hanson Manufacturing Co. She was a member of Broadway Christian Church, Princeton; American Legion 25 Auxiliary, and a past noble grand of Rebekah Lodge in Princeton.

Preceding in death were her parents, Daniel Stull and Ida Mae Speagle Stull; and her husband, Thomas D. Elsfelder, who died in 1977.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Myrtle) M. Tompkins of Crestwood, Ky.; a grandson, Larry Tompkins of Crestwood; four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Agnes Wascher and a brother, Walter Stull, both of Phoenix, Ariz.

Funeral services will be at 10a.m. Wednesday at Kendall Funeral Home 520 S. Main St., Princeton, with the Rev. John Dunn officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Princeton.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 until 8 p.m. today.
