Dorothy Farmer

 

NEWBURGH – Dorothy Farmer, 74, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1999 at 8:40 p.m. at her home in Newburgh.

            Mrs. Farmer was born March 10, 1924.

            She was an avid bowler for 30 years and belonged to the Sports Car Club of American for 30 years.

Mrs. Farmer was of Methodist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Farmer of Newburgh; two daughters, Karen Leah Scott of Evansville, and Laura Rae Zietz of Newburgh; a son, Randy H. Farmer of Weatherford, Tex.; one grandson, Ryan James Zietz of Newburgh; one sister, Margaret Cook of Denver, Colo.; nieces, Cynthia Clontz of Denver, Colo., and Nola Gibson of Hohenwald, Tenn.; and two nephews Robert Cook of Lake Jackson, Tex. and Orville Cook of Craig, Colo.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, and Saturday from noon until services at the Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, Newburgh.

Memorial donations may be made to Deaconess/Ohio Valley Hospice.

Burial will be in Friendship Church Cemetery in Fordsville, Ky.
