Eva E Lofton, 82, died at 12:23 am Wednesday, March 14, 1990 at Gibson County Hospital in Princeton.

 

She was born June 17, 1907 near Princeton, and resided in Princeton for the past 45 years.  Mrs. Lofton was a homemaker.  She attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Princeton and was a life member of VFW Post 1147 Auxiliary.

 

Surviving are 4 sons;  Bill Lofton of Evansville, Jim and Jerry Lofton, both of Princeton, and Larry (Buck) Lofton of Patoka;  four daughters, Lucille Solomon of Eugene, Oregon, Beverly Burns of Smyrna, Tennessee, Louise Walker of Princeton, and Connie King of Patoka;  20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren;  a brother, William Floyd Keith of Princeton, and three sisters, Elsie Curtis of Albion, Illinois,  Irene Cooper of Princeton, and Nettie Crow of Dallas, Texas.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday at Colvin Funeral Home, 425 North Main Street, Princeton, Indiana with the Rev. Phil Edwards officiating.  Burial will be in Maumee Cemetery, Johnson.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 until 8 pm Friday.
