Denver L. Bolin 90 of Winslow, IN entered rest on Saturday February 24, 2007 at 12:35 A.M. at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City, IN.  He was born on March 28, 1916 in Pike Co, In. to Aaron and Margaret (Dixon) Bolin.

He was employed at A.W.W. Railroad for 32 years, member of Anderson Chapel Church in Petersburg, IN where he was a deacon and he served as Chaplin for the Winslow Fire Dept for many years and worked on the Civilian Conservation Corp from 1935-1937.

He was preceded in death by daughter Judy Bolin in 1945, his wife Laura Bolin in Feb. 26, 2000.

Surviving is a daughter: Nina McCandless of Winslow, IN.  Sons: John, Don, Ray, Terry, Ronnie ”Butch” all of Winslow, IN, Robert Bolin of Washington, IN and Jack of Palo Pento, Texas.  Sisters: Barbara Evans of Winslow, IN and Evelyn Vogel of Ft. Worth, Texas

Funeral services will be Wednesday Feb,28 2007 2:00 P.M. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, IN, burial in Williams Cemetery near Oakland City.  Rev. Lemoin “Mac” McKinney will officiate.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M Tuesday and from 8:00 A.M. until services on Wednesday at the chapel.
