BESSIE E. HUNT BOYLE

Parker City, IN – Boyle, 86, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

She was born in Princeton to John and Sarah Elsfelder Hunt, and attended Baldwin Heights School.

She owned the Selma Package Drug Store and was a member of Parker City Home Economics Club.

She is survived by her 2nd husband, James A. Boyle; her daughter, JoEllen (Leonard ‘Sonny’)  Cook, of Parker City; step-children Barbara Ann (Jim) Curtis of Muncie, David Paul Boyle of Texas, Dennis (Phyllis) Boyle of Yorktown, IN; sisters, JoAnn (Charles ‘Chalky’) Weist of Carrolton, KY, and Paula ‘Polly’ Wood of Lamont, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Haskell Winingear (formerly of Princeton); four brothers and six sisters.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. at Grant Funeral Home Yorktown Chapel, Rev. Larry Sheets officiating.

Friends may call Tuesday 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Yorktown Nazarene Church.
