William T. “Bill” Cox, 71, of Franklin, IN formerly of Oakland City entered rest on Thursday September 25, 2008 11:00 A.M. at Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin, IN.

He was born on May 4, 1937 in Princeton, to Stewart and Helen (Volkman) Cox.

He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Washington, IN. and Oakland City F. &AM Masonic Lodge # 467 where he was past master. He also owned and operated Cox Body Shop in Oakland City for many years.

He is survived by his sister Edna Carol Crowe of Plainfield, IN.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday September 29, 2008 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel, in Oakland City with burial in Montgomery Cemetery.

Rev. Charles K. Stanley will officiate.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 P.M.Sunday and 8:00 A.M. until services on Monday at the chapel.

Oakland City Masonic Lodge # 467 will conduct memorial services on Sunday at 7:00 P.M.
