Pearl A. Edrington, 75, of Winslow, IN entered rest on Friday March 17, 2006, at 5:47 P.M. at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.

He was born on March 13, 1931 in Winslow, IN to Albert “Chin” and ZellaRagleEdrington.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Bertha Rhodes, Roy Edrington, Clement Edrington, Mary White and Mildred Edrington.

He graduated from Winslow High School, and University of Evansville with B.S.A.  He was a 4 year veteran of Korean Conflict serving in the Air Force.  He retired in 1995 after several years with Alcoa Warrick Operation.  He was a member of Amateur Radio Relay League, American Legion Post # 256, Scottish Rite, Newburgh F.&A.M. Lodge, Past Commander of Coast Guard Auxiliary in Newburgh, IN.  He loved traveling, boating, NASCAR, amateur radioing and camping.  He also was a member of Muren Church of God.

Surviving is his wife of 53 years the former Shirley (Taft) Edrington; three sons, Carl Edrington of Phoenix, AZ, Greg & Debbie Edrington of Chandler, IN and Larry Edrington and Dee of Chandler, IN; two granddaughters Amanda Edrington of Phoenix and Whitney Edrington of Chandler, IN; one great-granddaughter Alexis Edrington of Phoenix, AZ; sisters Goldie Brothers of Weslaco, Texas and Ruth Hatfield, of Winslow, IN.  And his beloved dog Angel.

Graveside services will be 11:30A.M C.S.T. Tuesday March 21, 2006 at Montgomery Cemetery Oakland City, IN, Rev. Frank McCandless officiating.

Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 P.M. C.S.T., on Monday March 20, 2006 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, Military Graveside services will be conducted by American Legion Post # 256.
