Edna B. (Kuhn) “LangbergFerguson, 101, of Oakland City, IN died Friday August 20, 2004 at 9:30 P.M. at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City, IN.

She was born on September 1, 1902 in Kenyon Minnesota to Fred and Alice (Marmet) Kuhn . She was the third of six children.  She moved by train with her parents and three siblings to Oklahoma.  She loved being out doors with her father as he worked on the farm.  Edna graduated from Carnegie High School and the Oklahoma University as a registered nurse.  She moved to Oklahoma City where she was a registered nurse at Tinker Air Force

She was preceded in death by her first husband Martin Langberg and her second husband Fred Ferguson in 1966; her parents; brothers and sisters, Ben Kuhn, Lillian Kuhn Falink, Minnie Kuhn Marion, Percy Kuhn, and Roy Kuhn; step-son Marvin Ferguson, step-granddaughter Susan Spitler, step great granddaughter Manda Spitler.

She was a member of the First General Baptist Church, and a lifetime member of the Oakland City Chapter Eastern Star.

Surviving are step-daughter Imo Spitler Valparaiso, IN; step grandsons Mann III and wife (Phyllis) Spitler and David wife (Kathy) Spitler of Valparaiso, IN; step granddaughter Barbara Spitler of Valparaiso, IN; step great granddaughter Brooke Spitler of Valparaiso, IN; nieces & nephews Mary Kuhn Cole, Alice Marie Marion, Erma Jones, Bill Kuhn, Don Kuhn, John Kuhn, Jackie Kuhn, Kay Kuhn Nuifar, Pat Kuhn, Karla Mae Marion, Carol Kuhn Williams, Jean Stocker, Sharon Drummond Soboloski, Bill Bemis and Elaine Bemis Kuitrud; longtime friend Iretta Aston; and friend and caregiver Brenda Koelling.

Funeral services will be Wednesday August 25, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at First General Baptist Church, Rev Rodney Walls officiating with burial in Montgomery Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel, and from 9:00 A.M. until services on Wednesday at the church.
