Dennis Wayne “Stoney” Jenkins, 57, of Oakland City, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.

Born July 21, 1951 in Nashville, Tenn. he was the son of Douglas and Joan (Hamilton) Jenkins. 

He was employed as a railroad conductor.

Survivors include his wife, Louise T. (Traylor) Jenkins of Oakland City; daughter, Lisa Guadarrama of Owensboro, Ky.; parents, Douglas and Joan Jenkins of Owensboro, Ky.;brother, Jerry Jenkins of Philpot, Ky.; and two grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 4 p.m., EST, Tuesday, Jan. 6 at Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with the Rev. James Petty officiating.  Interment of his cremains will be at the Jenkins Family Cemetery in Lyle, Tenn.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST Tuesday at the funeral home.
