Edwin Ray Kell, 81, of Princeton, IN entered rest on Thursday December 28, 2006 at 11:25 A.M. at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, IN.

He was born on August 27, 1925 in Oakland City to Raymond and Esther (Houchins) Kell.

He was a World War II veteran serving in United States Marine Corp.  He also was an ordained General Baptist minister for 45 years.

Surviving is a son: Fred Kell of Loganville, GA; daughters, Edwina Lewis of La Porte, IN and Esther Brown of Michigan City, IN; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; sisters, Aline Taitino of San Antonio, Texas, Amy Tschappler of Carlsbad, New Mexico and Lena Boswell of Arkansas; brothers, Jim Kell of Princeton, IN; Louie and Carlos “Sam” and Fred Kell all of Oakland City, IN, Raymond Lee Kell of Petersburg, IN and John Kell of Boonville, IN.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday December 31, 2006 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, burial in Providence Cemetery near Francisco, IN, Rev. Frank Sapp will be officiating .

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Saturday and from 8:00 A.M. until services on Sunday at the chapel.
