Lucille McConnell, 84, formerly of Evansville, IN now of Richmond KY, entered rest on Sunday April 8, 2007 at 2:07 P.M. at Telford Terrace in Richmond KY.

She was born on July 19, 1922 in Gibson County to Carl and Maude (McGregor) McDowell.

She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Deloris Catt; and husband Hubert Eugene McConnell.

Surviving family includes: Daughter and son-in law, Colleen LaVon Shelton of Richmond KY and Jeffrey Shelton currently stationed in Kuwait; son, Terry Gene McConnell of Los Angeles, California; grandson, Keith Wayne Shelton; granddaughter, Katlyn Renee Shelton.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday April 14, 2007 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City with burial in Somerville Cemetery in Somerville, IN, Rev. Mitchell C. Gieselman officiating.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00-8:00 P.M. and from 8:00 A.M. until services on Saturday at chapel.
