SOMERVILLE—Edward E. Miller, 95, of Somerville, died Tuesday March 27, 2001, at 1:50 a.m. at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

He was born January 12, 1906 in Pike County to McClellan and Susan BROWN Miller.

He was a retired coal miner, a member of the Unite Mine Workers of America (UMWA) and the Mackey Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include his wife of 73 years, the former Hermena Schmitt; two sons; Earl Miller of Lynnville and Hilbert Miller of Somerville; three grandchildren; Debra Miller of Cincinnati, Daniel Miller of Grandview, Mo., and Diana Reinert of Chambersburg, Penn.; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 30, at the Mackey Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Bill L. Reed will officiate.

Burial will be in the Townsley Cemetery near Mackey.

Visitation will be from 4:30-9 p.m. on Thursday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel and from 8 a.m. until service time at the church on Friday.
