Gilbert G. Siekman, 95, of Mackey, IN passed away on Thursday October 6, 2005 at 1:50 P.M. at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City, IN.

He was born on May 14, 1910 in Warrick County IN to Edward and Matilda (Bethe) Siekman.

He was a retired farmer in the Mackey area and was a World War II Army Veteran. He was a member of V.F. W. Post #1147 in Princeton, IN, Oakland City Eagles Lodge and attended St. Johns United Church of Christ in Buckskin, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step father, Ewald Peppmueler; brothers, Edward and Clifford Siekman; sister, Grace Hodgen; great nephew, Ernie Schmidt; and great niece Connie Sue.

Surviving are his sisters, Mildred Elliott of Seymour IN and Marie Johnson of Henderson, KY; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday October 10, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, IN, burial in Zion Cemetery in Elberfeld, IN, with Rev. William Tollas officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday and from 8:00A.M.until services on Monday at the Chapel.
