Richard Britton Sigler, 64, of Henderson, formerly of Oakland City, died Monday, April 16, 2001 at his home of cancer.

He was retired from ALCOA Warrick Operations and Whirlpool Corporation.

He was a 32^nd Degree Mason, A United States Air Force veteran, a member of the American Legion and a life member of the veterans of Foreign Wars.

Surviving are two daughters, Denise Sigler Phelps of Glasgow, Ky., and Diane Sigler Fulcher of Henderson, Ky.; three brothers, David of Evansville, Danny of Chicopee, Mass., and Earl Woodford ‘Woody’ of Henderson; three granddaughters, Emily Brooke Bush and Lacey Jo Fulcher, both of Henderson and Emma Rose Phelps of Glasgow; and a grandson, Seth Britton Phelps of Glasgow.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Rudy Rowland Funeral Home. Tony Gish will officiate. Private family burial will be in Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis, Ky.

Friends may call until service time Wednesday, at the funeral home.
