JERRY W. TRUXAL

 

          PRINCETON, Ind. -- Jerry W. Truxal, 59, of Princeton, died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 18, 2006 at the VNA Charlier Hospice Center, in Evansville.  He was born Aug.14, 1946 in Terre Haute.

          He had lived in the Princeton area for the past 46 years.  He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.  He also was an active member of the Elks #634 and the Eagles #361 in Princeton.  He was a truck driver and most recently worked for Trans-freight.

          He was preceded in death by his parents, who raised him, John Bill and Juanita McGarrah.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Linda (Morber) Truxal; four children, Michael (Becky) Truxal, Mark Todd Truxal, and Tina Reid, all of Princeton, and Kevin Truxal and his fiancé Amy Phillips, of Evansville; seven grandchildren, Josh and Jordyn Truxal, Joni Truxal, Tori Cook, Tristan and Lauren Reid, and Kyle Truxal; two sisters, Sue Hutchens, of Crawfordsville and Sandy Schmits, of Princeton; a brother, Jimmie McGarrah, of Evansville; and nieces and nephew.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at Colvin Funeral Home, in Princeton.  Burial will be in Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.  Father Bernie Etienne will officiate.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 until 8 p.m. On Tuesday at the funeral home.
