Linda Mae Ames age 47 passed away Saturday June 9, 2007 in Oakland City, IN. She was born Dec. 22, 1959 in Patterson CA. to Kenneth and Hattie (Folkner) Cooksey, who preceded her in death. Linda was a Q. M.A. and a Restorative Aide at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City. Linda had lived in Princeton since 1993 moving here from CA. She enjoyed playing bingo and collecting tigers. 

Linda is survived by two sons Jeremy Ames, Princeton and John Frederick, Princeton, a daughter, Paula Wildman, Evansville, a step-daughter: Sharon Hershey, Princeton, her life partner, Mike Stevens, Princeton, four sisters and brothers-in-law: Theresa and Henry Espinoza, Patoka, Sharon and Johnny McCarthy, Cookson OK, Pam Cooksey, Mt. Carmel and Renia Cooksey, Princeton, two granddaughters; Tabatha and Elizabeth Wildman and a grandson, Kaiden Hershey, five nieces and three nephews, 3 great nieces and one great nephew. 

Funeral Services will be
3 p.m. Wednesday June 13, 2007 at the Colvin Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Stephenson officiating, burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Patoka. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
