Jerry L. Armstrong, 64, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at VNA Charlier Hospice in Evansville, IN. He was born April 11, 1943 in Gibson County, IN and had been a lifetime resident and was owner/operator of Armstrong Logging. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1963-1966. A member of the V.F.W. # 1147, American Legion Post # 25, Eagles Aerie # 361 all in Princeton and the Moose Lodge in Petersburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, George L. & Frances (Campbell) Armstrong. 

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Wanda Armstrong; a daughter, Kristi Armstrong & Fiancee, Tim Oxby of Lynnville, IN; 2 step-children, Tamara Gail Davis & Randall Dean Davis both of Francisco; 2 brothers, Leland (Joan) Armstrong of Patoka, IN and Joe Armstong & special friend, Lorene Terry of Union, IN; 3 sisters, Marlene (Bob) Loveless of Princeton, Lisa (Gene) Brewer of Mt. Carmel, IL & Ann (Lee) Donaldson of Monroe City, IN; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 aunts, Lou Gaston & Beulah White; several nieces, nephews & cousins along with several special friends. 

Funeral services will be Graveside at
2 P.M. Friday, December 7, 2007 at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus, officiated by Rev. Gary Arnold. There will be no visitation; Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is handling the arrangements. V.F.W. # 1147 will provide full military rites at the cemetery.
