Phyllis Jean Beckner, 58 of Princeton passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

She was a hairdresser for 38 years. She was a member of the Old Tyme Auto Club and very active with the Boy Scout Troop #222. 

Phyllis was born on April 6, 1950 in Gibson County to Lewis & Estella (Brown) Wright, both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Beckner in 1995; and her brother, Darrell Wright. 

She is survived by her daughter, Angela Branham of Princeton; grandson, Jered Charles Branham; 3 sisters, Garnet Finn of Indianapolis, Louise Neufelder of Indianapolis, and Carolyn (Charles) Murphy of Yanktom, SD; 1 brother, Gerald (Karen) Wright of Owensville; and a sister-in-law, Jayne Wright of Mt. Carmel, IL. 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 4, 2008 at 2 PM at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton officiated by Rev. Craig Duke. Burial will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Francisco.

Friends may visit from 12 noon until service time on Saturday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
