Berneitha Jane Madison-Booth, age 79 of Princeton, Indiana departed this earth to receive her promised gift of eternal life on Thursday, November 10, 2005 when God called her to his glory.

 

Berneitha worked at Mid-States Rubber Co. and later was a retired UMAW employee from the Amax Coal Company. She was a very dedicated employee. Berneitha was also a faithful member of the Patoka Church of God In Christ and the Mothers’ Board of the church. She loved her grandchildren and played an active role in their life. 

She was born
July 3, 1926 and was a lifetime resident of Gibson County where she reared her seven children by the fruits of her marriage to John B. Booth who preceded her in death in March 1984. She was also preceded in death by her parents George & Annie (Lyles) Madison, a son, Daniel Booth in 2001, a brother, Sylvester “Jim” Madison and a sister, Shirley Madison. 


She is survived by 6 children, Kenneth Madison of Patoka, IN; Harold Madison of Kalamazoo, Mi; Deborah Clayton of Jeffersonville, IN; Sharon Hadley and Angela Booth both of Princeton, IN; Marva Paris of Evansville, IN; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 siblings, Heavin Madison of Terre Haute, IN; and Minerva Hardiman of Princeton, IN; host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends 

Funeral Services will be held on Monday November 14, 2005 at 1:00 PM at the Patoka Church of God in Christ, 309 Wood Street, Patoka, IN., with the Elder David Johnson officiating. Burial will be at the
Sand Hill Cemetery in Princeton.

 

Friends may call from 5 until 8 PM on Sunday at the Colvin Funeral Home, who is in charge of arrangements.
