Mildred A. Buckman, 69 of Princeton, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2008, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.

She lived in the Princeton area since 1977. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton. 

She was born in Jasper, Indiana on December 15, 1938 to Aloysius & Margaret (Knust) Schuch, both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gaylord Schuch. 

Mildred is survived by her husband of 48 years, James Buckman of Princeton; daughter & son-in-law, Barbara & Kerry Wilhite of Francisco; son, Anthony "Tony" Buckman of Princeton; 3 grandchildren, Anthony "Joe" Buckman, Kira B. & Keely D. Wilhite; 3 sisters, Norma Gibson of Chuckey, TN, Ruth Vines of Gary, IN and Linda Schuch-Crowley of Austin, TX. 

Funeral Service Mass will be held at 9 AM on Monday, September 8, 2008 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton, with the Fr. Ron Zgunda and Fr. Bernie Etienne officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery near Francisco, IN.

Visitation will be at the Colvin Funeral Home on Sunday from 4 until 8 PM. A Rosary service will be held at 7 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
