Mr. James S. Camp, 71, passed away at his home (23 Jun 2006) in Arthur after a long illness. He was born on January 17, 1935 in Vincennes, IN. 

He was a professional musician and played with many different orchestras including Lawrence Welk’s Stars Orchestra and the Russ Morgan Orchestra. He was a graduate of
Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN. and had taught band and orchestra at Wood Memorial High School. He also worked at Jasper Music Center for over 7 years. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Catherine (Folsom) Camp and Annavieve Joseph, and a Son, Larry Beasley. 

He is survived by his wife Deloris (Scarlett); 5 Children, Connie Burlison and David Camp of Evansville; Gary Camp of New Harmony; Eugene and Stephen Beasley of Oakland City; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary Ann Litherland and Frances Stokes of Vincennes. 

A Memorial Service will be held on
Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at 10 A.M. at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Oakland City. Dr. Douglas Low will officiate. There will be no visitation at the Corn–Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City who is handling the arrangements.  (Cremated.)
