Nina Lee Cansler, 81 of Princeton, Indiana passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.

 

She resided in Princeton for the last 10 years moving here from Alvarado, Texas. She retired from the City of Alvarado Public Library.

 

Nina was born October 26, 1926 in Somerville to Dee & Mable (Garrison) Hopkins who preceded her in death. 

Nina was a talented artist and craftsman, but most of all was an inspiration and guiding light to her family and all that knew her. She laid a foundation of bonding love that will forever keep our family strong and loving through generations to come. She was beloved by all. 

She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Melanie & Chris Allerellie of Patoka; two sons, Bruce Cansler of Huntingburg and Mark Cansler of Oakland City; 8 grandchildren, Shane & wife Lori, Roland & wife Kim, Nicole & fiance’ Dean, Donnie, Austin & wife April, Brittany & fiance’ Josh, Bryce & fiance’ Shasta and Savannah; 7 great grandchildren; and 2 brothers & sisters-in-law, Richard & Gwen Hopkins of Francisco and Arvin & Mary Lou Hopkins of Mooresville. 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday November 10, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City officiated by Rev. Charles Gipson. Burial will be at the
Forsythe Cemetery in Oakland City.

 

Friends may visit from 4 until 8 PM on Friday and from 8 AM until service time Saturday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home.
