Nancy Jo Colvin, 68 of Princeton, passed away at River Oaks Health Campus, Saturday, February 3, 2007.

 

She was born in Ft. Branch, IN on April 1, 1938 to Shelby "Red" and Leva (Georges) Wilkerson who preceded her in death. 

Nancy graduated from Ft. Branch High School in 1956, married Donald Ray Colvin on June 2, 1957 and moved to Princeton, where she lived the rest of her lifetime. She retired from Hurst Mfg after 24 years in payroll accounting. She also was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ft. Branch. 

She was survived by her husband of 49 years, Donald Ray Colvin, 4 children and their spouses, Lesly & Neil Mackey of West Lafayette, IN; Donald C. & Sharon Colvin of Patoka; Crystal & George Smith of Owensville; Amber & Jeff May of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Alescia Colvin Jernigan, Heather Colvin, Morgan & Kiera Mackey, Austin & Tori Phelps, Allison & Andrew May; great-grandchilden, Devyn Jernigan & Whitney Recker; step-grandchildren, Jason Recker, Lenlee & Laurel Smith; sister & brother-in-law, Bernie & Robert Maikranz of Ft. Branch; brother & sister-in-law, Ralph (Jack) & Sharon Wilkerson of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews. 

Services will be held at
10 A.M. Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. John Windell officiating. Burial will be at the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.

 

Friends may visit from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Colvin Funeral Home.
