James E. Coomer, 62, of Princeton passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the Hospice House in Evansville.

 

He lived his life in the Gibson County area and loved the outdoors and fishing. He worked in construction and was also an auto mechanic. 

He was born
September 15, 1945 in Princeton, Indiana to Elmer & Helen (Greentree) Coomer, both deceased. He is also preceded in death by his 1st wife, Carol Coomer in 1993; a son, J.J. Coomer; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. 


James is survived by his wife, Ruthie Coomer of Princeton; 6 children, Misty (Steve) Simpson, Crystal (Chris) McGillem, Jesse Coomer and Nichol Bullock all of Princeton; Tammy (Josh Norrington) Bullock and Gabrielle Bullock all of Oakland City; 7 grandchildren, T.J., Cierra, Cody & Brenda Abell, Marissa & Christopher McGillem and James Davis Norrington; brothers and sisters, David (Pat) Coomer, Raymond (Sherri) Coomer, Lisa (Acy) Botts, Carolyn (Bobby) Lewis, Marie Coomer and John.

Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 2: 00 PM at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton
