Virginia Lucille Crecelius, 92, of Newburgh passed away Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Newburgh Healthcare.

She was a purchasing agent for Gibson General Hospital and Wirth Hospital. She was a member of the Aldersgate Methodist Church in Evansville and a member of the Oakland City Eastern Star. 

Virginia was born on June 6, 1916 in Winslow to Elmer and Clara (Bonenberger) Minnis, both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hulett Crecelius and a brother, Doral Minnis. 

She is survived by her 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Burt & Fern Crecelius of Woodlands, Texas and Allan & Shirley Crecelius of Newburgh; 3 grandsons, Jeff, Eric (Nancy), and Heath (Patty) Crecelius; 1 great granddaughter, Mina Crecelius. 

Funeral Services will be held on Monday November 24, 2008 at 10 AM CST at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, Indiana with the Rev. Mitch Gieselman officiating. Burial will be at the Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City.

Friends may visit from 4 until 8 PM on Sunday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City.
