Alvin Leon Dearing, 73, joined his wife in heaven on Monday March 17, 2008 at the St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville. Alvin was a retired carpenter, electrician and plumber. He also worked for AARP part-time. 

He was born on
August 31, 1934 in Princeton to George Dearing and Elizabeth Davis, both deceased. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Stella Dearing; son, Darwin; daughter, Maxine Watts; son-in-law, Randy Montz; 5 brothers, Ed (Louis), Larry, Jack, Jim, and Robert Earl. 

Alvin is survived by his 3 daughters, Connie Montz and Marilyn Wallace of Princeton, and Carolyn (Bryon) Spampinto of Spring, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Sharon Green of Evansville and Ruthanne Antey of Princeton; and a brother, George Dearing of Arkansas. 

Funeral Services will be held at
10:00 AM on Friday March 21, 2008 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will be at the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Friends may visit from 4 until 8 PM on Thursday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
