Doris M. Duncan, 92, passed
away Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005
at GibsonGeneralHospital, in Princeton.
She attended LockyearBusinessCollege and was employed as a secretary for Wilder and Son
Oil Co., in OaklandCity. She was a faithful member of the TrinityUnitedMethodistChurch, in OaklandCity, for over 70 years, where she was a Sunday School teacher, assistant choir director and a lifetime
member of the United Methodist Women's Missions. She also sang at many weddings
and funerals. She was a member of Chapter 451, Order of Eastern Star, in OaklandCity for 63 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Leroy and Cora (Wilder) Street;
her husband, Russell E. Duncan; and a sister, Thelma Broadwell.
She is survived by a stepson, Robert Duncan, of OaklandCity; five step grandchildren; 10 step
great-grandchildren; two cousins; and several special friends.
