Bessie P. Gentry age 85 died Saturday Dec. 23, 2006 at the Gibson General Hospital S.N.F.

 

She was born on June 16, 1921 to Luther and Georgia A. (Morgan) Wright.

 

Bessie was a homemaker, but had worked at the Devoe Reynolds factory many years ago. She had lived in Princeton all of her life. She was a member of the Fairhaven Christ Fellowship Church in Cynthiana and also a member of the V.F.W. Post 1147 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed baby sitting and often spoke about the ones she had kept. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Floyd W. Gentry, brothers Lawrence and Morris Wright and sister Mary Compton, sister-in-law Susie Wright, and brother-in-law, Ora Holcomb 

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law; Bill and Maureen Gentry, Trenton FL, three daughters and sons-in-law; Suzette and Rod Douglas, Ft. Branch, Sandi and Randy Williams, Princeton and Bobbie and Dale Williford, Princeton, two sisters; Dolly Holcomb, Mt. Carmel and Peggy Griffith, Winslow, three brothers and sisters-in-law; Eugene and Rosalee Wright, Eddyville, KY and Donnie Wright, St. Phillips, IN, Dorris and Jayne Wright, Mt. Carmel, brother-in-law Keith Compton, Evansville, ten grandchildren; Bradley Douglas, Bill Gentry, Shelli Sullivan, Teri Gentry, Lori Campbell, Todd Gentry, Andy Miles, Hanah Williford, Nathan and Dalton Williams, eleven great-grandchildren. 

Funeral Services will be
2 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 27, 2006 at the Colvin Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Simms officiating, burial will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery.

 

There will be visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Colvin Funeral Home
