John Ray Gieselman, 62, passed away on Tuesday March 18, 2008 at his home in Winslow.

 

John was a member of Winslow Masonic Lodge #260 and the Timeless Classic Car Club. He loved participating in car shows with his red 57' Chevy, visiting with friends at the Trading Post and spending time with his family. He was retired from I.P.L. and was a member of the I.B.E.W. and the U.M.W.A. 

He was born on
August 24, 1945 in Oakland City to Raymond & Hazel Gieselman, both deceased. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Larry M. Gieselman

John is survived by his wife, Sheila Gieselman of Winslow; son & daughter-in-law, Dr. Morris & Ami Gieselman of Indianapolis; daughter, Missy Gieselman of Winslow; 4 grandchildren, Kyle Gieselman, Katie Gieselman, Cameron Gieselman & Jack Brandt; brother, Robert Gieselman of Champaign, IL; and a great aunt, Christina O’Neal

Funeral Services will be held at
11:00 AM CDT on Saturday March 22, 2008 at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City with the Rev. Terry Beadles and Rev. Lendon Toms officiating. Burial will be at the Spurgeon Cemetery.

 

Friends may visit from 3 until 8 PM on Friday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home.
