Nellie Marie Hale, 94, passed away Monday, June 16, 2008 at Golden Living Center in Petersburg.

 

She was born June 25, 1913 in Tell City, Indiana and had been a resident of Francisco since 1980 after having lived in Patoka for 68 years.

 

She was a housewife and former restaurant worker and a member of the Patoka Presbyterian Church. Preceding her in death was a brother, Malcolm Howe; her parents, George & Maggie (Goffinet) Howe and her husband, Coleman Hale in 1994. 

Survivors include a son, Jack (Sharon) Hale of Oakland City; 4 grandchildren, David (Vickie) Hale of Princeton, Chris (Allison) Hale of Francisco, Kimberly Ball & friend, John Perry of Princeton and Tina Hale & friend, Ryan Hutchinson of Oakland City; 1 step-granddaughter, Cassidy Hembree of Princeton; 12 great-grandchildren, Lauren, Dalen & Isaac Hale, Kristina, Cory, Levi, Chase & Grant Hale, Tyler & Halee Ball, Patience & Shelbee Hutchinson; 2 sisters, Evelyn Curry & Enid Lynch both of Princeton; several nieces & nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at
1 P.M. Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.

 

Friends may visit from 4 until 8 P.M. Wednesday at Colvin Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Patoka.
