Wanda Mae Hale, 89, of Oakland City, formerly of Somerville, died Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at St. Mary's Medical Center, in Evansville. She was a homemaker. 

She was born in
Harrison, Ark. on Aug. 12, 1915 to Clarence and Maude Queen Harper.

 

Her husband, Kenneth H. Hale died in 1976. 

Surviving are five children, William F. Hale, of Evansville, Verna Lynn Williams, of Oakland City, Arlene Sharp, of Oakland City, Kenneth A. Hale, of Rockport and Pamela Coberly, of Spurgeon; six sisters; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. 

Visitation will be private at the Corn Colvin Funeral Home, in
Oakland City  (Burial was in the Francisco I.O.O.F. Cemetery.)
