Ruby M. Hardiman, 71 of Princeton, Indiana passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2006 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.

She was a member of the Greater Holy Temple Church. She was a member of the Democrat Women’s Club and the Red Hat Society @ River Oaks. She retired from the Gibson County Courthouse. She was a graduate of the class of 1953 from the Roosevelt High School in Gary, Indiana

She was born November 18, 1934 in Memphis, Tennessee to Obie & Dora (Williams) Pratt, both deceased.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alan Hardiman and two sisters, Vergie Brown and Elizabeth Jones 

She is survived by her 2 brothers, Murray Pratt of Hilo, Hawaii and Councilman Roy (Beverly) Pratt of Gary, IN; several nieces and nephews, Jamar Jones and William (Gloria) Jones of Gary, IN; Leonard Pratt, Diane Pratt, Tony Pratt, Vienna (Bobby) Carter all of Detroit, Michigan; Jamal (Evette) Pratt and Giovanni Yvette) Pratt of San Antonio, Texas; Alexander Pratt of Hammond, IN; Christopher Pratt of Hilo, Hawaii and Jonathan Pratt of Seattle, WA; numerous great nieces and nephews, including Paula Wilkerson who was her caregiver. 

Graveside Services will be held on Friday October 27, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Sand Hill Cemetery in Princeton, with the Pastor William W. Simmons officiating.

Family will meet at the Colvin Funeral Home, 425 North Main Street, Princeton, Indiana, to go in procession to the cemetery.
