Duane E. Harmon, 91, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2005 at the Gibson General Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility, in Princeton.

 

Duane was born in Crawfordsville on Nov. 10, 1913 and had lived in Princeton since 1975, moving there from Saginaw, Mich. 

He was retired from the C&O Railroad and was a member of the
Bethel A.M.E. Church, in Princeton

Duane was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Maude (Dobbs) Harmon, and a brother, Altridge Harmon. 

Survivors include his daughter, Debra Steward and Lou Weaver, of
Saginaw, Mich.; a son, Gregory "Ronnie" and Alma Steward, of Hayward, Calif.; and five grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held at
11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2005 at the Colvin Funeral Home, in Princeton, officiated by the Rev. Annetta Parnell.

 

Friends may call for visitation from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday at Colvin Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sand Hill Cemetery, west of Princeton
