In 1950 he married and
traveled to
Bob is survived by his
daughter and son-in-law Karla and Butch Davis of Princeton, as well as
daughters and sons-in-law Jill and Andy Cortez of Mechanicsville, VA; Lorelei
and Bill Carr of Oroville, CA; and Lynne and John "Razz" McMinn of
Vacaville, CA. He is also survived by ten grandchildren: Janine Anthis (Joe); Kyle Cortez, Ross Cortez, Ryan DeNure (Darla), Anjalyn DeNure, Erica Reynoso (Chava), Holly Eskridge (Nathan),
Lindsey DeNure, Kelley Steffey
(Jason), and Kristian McMinn. Two
step-granddaughters, Julie Vittori (George) and
Stephanie Dewus (Matt) welcomed Bob as family when he
moved to
Bob served in the Army Air Corp and had an extensive knowledge and love of
airplanes. He spent many years as a firefighter. He loved fishing and boating
in the lakes and rivers of
Bob married again in 1977. Preceding him in death were his wife, Leigh, his
parents, Joseph Albert and Mabel Anna Harmon, and his brother, David Eugene
Harmon.
