John Hasse, 79, of Princeton, died at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004 at Gibson General Hospital, in Princeton.

 

He was born Aug. 31, 1925 in Patoka. 

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a self-employed bulldozer service operator and lived his entire life in
Princeton. He was also a life-long member of the Princeton VFW Post 1147. 

He is survived by his wife, Pearl Hasse, of Princeton; a son, John R. Hasse, of Princeton; a daughter and son-in-law, Nedra Elizabeth and Grant Rummell, of Carlsbad, Calif.; a granddaughter, LaShel Montgomery, of Carlsbad, Calif.; three great-grandchildren, Blake, Brandon and Savannah Montgomery, all of Carlsbad, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside services will be at
2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1 at the IOOF Cemetery, in Princeton. VFW Post 1147 will conduct a graveside military service.

 

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30 at the Colvin Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home.
