Anna Lou Kolb Hofman, 83 passed away Friday, August 17, 2007 at the River Oaks Skilled Care Center in Princeton.

 

She was a farm wife and mother who spent her entire life in Gibson County.

 

Anna Lou was born to Leotis and Margaret Kolb on September 4, 1923. Her parents, a sister Helen Louise Houston and two brothers Joe Howard Kolb and John Leottis Kolb, preceded her in death.

 

She was a member of Hillside Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Psi Iota Xi Sorority, Daughters of the American Revolution and the Lady Elks. 

Anna Lou is survived by her three children, Phil Hofman (Cindy) of Princeton, IN, Rebecca Flack (Doug) of Thompson Station, TN, and Lucinda Jones (Richard) of Patoka, IN; eight grandchildren, Steve Flack of North Manchester, IN, Rachel Thompson of Patoka, IN, Kye Hofman Esq. of Haubstadt, IN, Jill Singer of Thompson Station, TN, Amber McHugh D.V.M. of Raleigh, NC, Autumn Jones of Patoka, IN, Jennifer Burrus of Thompson Station, TN and Mitchell Jones of Patoka, IN; nineteen great grandchildren; and two sisters, Susan Mayer of Jacksonville, NC and Jane Woods of Princeton, IN. 

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday August 22, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton, with the Rev. Craig Duke and Rev. Brian Cook officiating. Burial will be at the
Decker Cemetery in Patoka.

 

Friends may visit from 11 AM until service time on Wednesday at the Hillside Methodist Church. Colvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
