Oleva Hunter, 79 of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville.

 

She was born in Petersburg, IN on June 15, 1929 to Rex & Ada (White) Masters who preceded her in death along with 2 brothers Earl & Bob Masters. 

She was an avid bingo player at the
Senior Center. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary for over 60 years and the American Legion Auxiliary for 40 years. 

Oleva is survived by her husband Jean Hunter, 1 son Terry Hunter of
Princeton; 2 grandchildren, Amanda & Stephon Hunter; 3 brothers, Bill Masters of Hazleton, Jack Masters of Vincennes, & Gordon Masters of Florida; 2 sisters Lavon Hunt of Princeton and Ruth Laidle of Vincennes; sister-in-law Betty Masters; and several nieces & nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at
3 P.M. Saturday, July 12, 2008 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will be at the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus.

 

Friends may visit from 1 P.M. until service time on Saturday at Colvin Funeral Home.
