Millard V. Julian age 97 died 11:27 p.m. Sunday Jan. 7, 2007 at the Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

 

He was born in Oakland City, IN Jan. 13, 1909 to William E. and Nora M, (McWilliams) Julian.

 

Millard retired from the Southern Railway as an inspector in 1974 after 35 years. He then worked in maintenance for the St. Marks United Methodist Church. 

Millard lived in
Princeton most of his life moving here from Oakland City. He was a member of the former St. Mark's Church, and was currently a member of the Patoka United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Carmen. 

Millard is survived by a grandson and his wife Jerry J. and Amy Cason, Plainfield and a granddaughter, Jessica Cason, Princeton, one brother Paul Julian, Princeton, two great granddaughters, Kylie and Zoie Cason, several nieces and nephews, a special caregiver, Mary Wilder, Princeton. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Evelyn (Maxey) Julian in 1991, a daughter Janet Sue Cason in 1994, four brothers and 1 sister. 

Funeral Services will be
10 a.m. Wednesday Jan. 10, 2007 at the Colvin Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Davis officiating, burial will follow in the Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City,

 

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
