James C. Kell, 68, of Princeton and formerly of Oakland City, passed away on Thursday August 14, 2008.

 

Jim was a retired truck driver-safety director. He also served in the U.S. Air Force. 

He was born on
July 27, 1940 in Oakland City, Indiana to Raymond & Esther (Houchin) Kell, both deceased.

 

Also preceding him in death were his brother, Edwin Kell and his sister, Dora Anthony. 

Jim is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda Kell of Princeton; 2 sons, J.C. (Mary) Kell of Petersburg, Raymond (Ana) Kell of Jasper; 1 daughter, Cheryl (Mike) Banister of Princeton; 6 grandchildren, Mike, Ian, Bailey, Cheryl Amanda, Jace & Dakota; 5 brothers, John Kell of Newburgh, Fred, Lewis and Sam Kell all of Oakland City, and Raymond Kell of Petersburg; 3 sisters, Amy Tschappler of Phoenix, Az, Aline Tiatano of San Antonio, Tx, and Lena Boswell of Arkansas. 

Funeral Services will be held at
10:00 AM on Tuesday August 19, 2008 at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, IN with Brother Harley Nickless and Rev. Craig Duke officiating. Burial will be at the Providence Cemetery south of Francisco.

 

Friends may visit from 4 until 8 PM on Monday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City
