Harold Eugene Kemper, 75, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2006, at his home of natural causes.

 

He was born September 28, 1930, in Princeton, IN to the late Herman and Thelda Kemper. Also preceding in death was a sister, Mary Jean Wright, of Princeton

He retired from Mid-States Rubber, Inc. in 1991 after 33 years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of the V.F.W. Post 1147. 

Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Joyce Ann (Hill) Kemper; a daughter Angela Marie (Kemper) Thompson and son-in-law Timothy Paul Thompson, Princeton, IN; 3 grandchildren Zachary Paul Thompson, Jeremiah Eugene Thompson and Cassidy Ann Thompson, also of Princeton; 6 Sisters: Virginia (Bob) Mercer of Muncie, IN; Shirley (Roy) Reno of Hobbs, New Mexico; Marlene Wirth of Chicago, IL; Joann (J.C.) Bullock of Princeton, IN; Louwanna (James) Patterson of Princeton, IN; and Peggy (Douglas) Forgy of Cadiz, KY; and a brother Donald (Lily) Kemper of Clearwater, FL; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at
10 a.m. Wednesday morning February 1, 2006 at the Colvin Funeral Home with Pastors Ruben and Jenny Schwieger officiating. Burial will be in the Columbia White Church Cemetery. The V.F.W. Post 1147 will conduct military graveside services.

 

Visitation will be at the Colvin funeral Home from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2006
