Raymond C. Kirby age 93 died Thursday April 5, 2007 at the Lawrenceville Community Healthcare Center in Bridgeport, IL.

He was born in Gibson County, IN Jan. 28, 1914 to Everett and Cynthia (Miller) Kirby.

He was a retired supervisor for Hansen Manufacturing where he worked for 39 years. 

Raymond had lived in Princeton most of lifetime. He was a member of Columbia General Baptist Church. He was a fifty year member of the Prince Lodge #231 F.& A.M. 

He is survived by two sons Bill Kirby, Keensburg, IL, Gilbert Kirby, Princeton, two daughters; Phyllis Helseth, Hamilton, MO, and Reba Sollman, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorothy Kirby in March 1992 and a son Robert Kirby in Oct. 1992. 

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday April 9, 2007 at the Colvin Funeral Home with burial in the Columbia "White" Church Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Colvin Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until the service time on Monday.
