William Noel Loftin Jr. age 66 formerly of Princeton passed away Saturday Sept. 27, 2008 at the North Park Nursing Center in Evansville.

 

He was born in New Orleans, LA, Oct. 2, 1941 to William Noel and Jeanne Catherine (Brown) Loftin Sr.

 

He was a retired high school teacher and a coach. He taught and coached at East Richland High School in Olney, IL and Princeton Community High School. He coached at Gibson Southern High School, Tecumseh High School and Mt. Carmel High School. He also taught at Big Muddy Correctional Facility in Ina IL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 1962 to 1969, during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton

Noel is survived by daughter and son-in-law; Shea and Rick Reneer, Princeton and son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Michelle Loftin, Fishers, IN, his mother Jeanne Loftin Plano,TX, four grandchildren, Brock and Beau Reneer, Princeton and Hailey and Makenzie Loftin, Fishers, IN, brothers and sisters; Helen Siroky, Fresno CA Chuck Loftin Carrollton Texas, Francie Cirisian, Paso Robles, CA, Joe Loftin Mt. Pleasant UT, Mary Jeanne Loftin, Austin TX, Carol Lichliter, Dallas TX, and Kathy Scott, Edmond OK. 

He was preceded in death by his father William Noel Loftin Sr. 

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m.
Thursday Oct. 2, 2008 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton with Fr.Ronald Zgunda officiating, burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. with a Rosary service at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, IN.
