Mr. Donald H. Maikranz,
79, passed away Friday, Jan.19, 2007 at his home near Francisco.
He was born near Somerville, IN to John Arvil and Lucy Opal (Hyslop) Maikranz.
He was a W.W.II Army Veteran and a lifetime resident
of the Somerville Francisco area. He was a retired coal miner, working at the
Kings Mine and then Old Ben Coal mine. He also was a farmer.
He was a member of the Clarks Chapel General Baptist Church, the Princeton
V.F.W. # 1147 and the Somerville American Legion Post W.O.R. # 462 and the
U.M.W. of A. # 5179.
He is survived by: Wife of 57 years- Betty A. (Riley) 6 Children; David H. Maikranz and wife Judy - Garards

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers; Dale and Elmo Maikranz.
There will be no visitation or services. Burial will be at a later date. Corn
Colvin Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
